Benefits
Along with competitive salaries, we offer
a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off,
tuition reimbursement for education and training, medical, dental
and vision insurance, a 401(k) deferred savings plan with SRA
contributions, employee stock purchase program and incentive
and bonus programs. We also offer free parking, a $75 public
transportation allowance for those who qualify, and company-sponsored
events and sports.
Paid Leave:
Employees accrue personal leave per year when they start.
Personal leave is utilized for vacation, personal holidays and
for family or personal illness. Unused leave is cumulative.
Tuition Assistance program:
We pay for job-related college courses, with reimbursement
based on grades. Employees earning an A get 100% reimbursement;
B's earn 80%. We will not reimburse employees for a C at the
graduate level, but will pay 60% of the tuition for undergraduates.
SRA also covers books and academic fees. Reimbursable will
not exceed $6,250 for any fiscal year.
Health, Dental and Vision Insurance:
We provide health care and dental insurance to employees
through a Preferred Provider Network. The PPO lets you choose
from a wide range of doctors, with small co-payments and no forms
to submit. Preventive care includes annual physicals and well-baby
check-ups. A prescription card allows you to purchase generic
prescription drugs or order long-term prescriptions through the
mail. Additionally, SRA offers a vision PPO with low co-pays
for routine vision exams and lenses. SRA also offers an
employee assistance program and administers a flexible spending
account that pays for uninsured health expenses with pre-tax
dollars.
Other Insurance:
SRA offers free disability and life insurance, as well as
business travel accident insurance.
Retirement Savings:
SRA encourages employees to contribute a tax-deferred portion
of their incomes to a 401(k) plan including mutual funds managed
by Fidelity Investments. SRA pays all administrative costs. Company
contributions to an employee's 401(k) account are subject to
a three-year graded vesting schedule.
Extracurricular SRA:
This is the place to be. SRA has many opportunities for our new
employees to get involved in activities outside the office: sports
teams, community service, parties, and much more. We support
the United Way, the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation, students
at Brookfield and Key Elementary Schools, Greater D.C. Cares,
the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation National Race for
the Cure, and Suited for Change, among many other causes. SRA's Chairman,
Ernst Volgenau, notes that "being among the world's best
companies also means making contributions to society through
good work for customers, fulfilling careers for employees, and
contributions to the community."
