Benefits

Learning Tree is committed to providing competitive health insurance to our staff members and offers comprehensive health benefits at a competitive cost for you and your dependents if you work a minimum of 30 hours a week.

Medical coverage is through a PPO and covers a wide range of doctor’s visits and hospitalization. Co-pays for our current plan year (June 1, 2011 – May 31, 2012) are$20.00 and hospital visits are covered at 80% in-network (deductibles may apply). Preventative doctor's visits are covered at no cost. Anthem also provides Learning Tree's Prescription coverage.

We offer Dental and Vision coverage too. Dental coverage is a PDO and routine dental maintenance is covered at no cost to covered staff members and dependents.

At no cost to you, you are eligible for long-term disability coverage which pays a percentage of your income if you are disabled for more than 13 weeks. You may also purchase short-term disability benefits (not available in California) to provide a percentage of your income if you are disabled for up to 13 weeks.

Flexible Spending Accounts are an excellent way to put aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare and daycare out-of-pocket expenses, thus providing you an income tax benefit. Learning Tree provides both healthcare (up to $4,000) and daycare (up to $5,000 per family) accounts. We also offer the convenience of a debit card to pay for eligible healthcare expenses.

Because there are many other issues which may affect you and your family, we offer an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which provides an abundance of services at no cost to you. You may access assistance with personal issues, financial planning, childcare and eldercare concerns, and even help with finding pet care. And there’s legal assistance and guidance on getting fit and healthy, too.

In addition to an extensive offering of health benefits, Learning Tree will reimburse you for your eligible health/fitness activities. You may receive 80% of the cost (to a maximum of $40) of monthly membership to a fitness or weight loss club or other qualifying fitness activity.

Employees can take Learning Tree courses free of charge and also receive up to $5,000 per year in tuition reimbursement for university courses related to work.

The company offers a 401(k) plan that matches 30% of the first 6% contributed and vesting is complete in five years.

As a full-time staff member (prorated for part-time) you begin accruing paid time off (PTO) your first month of employment and accrue up to 18 days per year. Learning Tree observes 13 holidays a year which includes closing the offices between Christmas and New Year's Day.
